OWWL Access
We are pleased to welcome you to our on-line catalog and circulation system OWWL (Ontario, Wayne, Wyoming, Livingston) Access. An exciting feature of this system is the ability to view not only our catalog, but also the holdings of every library in the four-county area.
Our first item of business is to issue each patron a card and personal identification number (PIN) that can be used in the four-county Pioneer Library System. To receive this card, you will need to show us your current card and/or other identification, and fill out a brief form indicating whether you would like a card or a key tag. If there are overdue items, outstanding fines, or bills on your old card, we require that you resolve these before we issue the new card.
With the new card and PIN, you will be able to access OWWL's iBistro catalog from your home, office, or library through the Internet. When you enter iBistro, you will find a Log-in box in the upper right hand corner of the page. In the User ID box, type your card number (found under the bar code on the back of the card) and the 4-digit PIN in the PIN box. Then by selecting My Account, you can change your PIN to a number that is easier to remember, or see what materials you have checked out and their due dates. You can even renew your items on-line! Please keep your PIN in a secure location, but be assured that the library staff can look it up for you if need be.
Another change is that you will receive a slip-printer receipt, which lists the items you have checked out, and their due dates. Please check your receipt and keep it as a reminder of when your items are due.
We will gladly renew your items in the system, and place holds on items in the collection at our library and for items held by other libraries in the four-county system.
